You can now filter all the available search engines at SkyScarf through the text box at Filters, just above the categories. Just type in the name of the search engines (i.e. “youtube”) or any keywords (ie. “videos” or “dictionary”).

In order to improve the usability of SkyScarf and make it clearer for everyone to find his favourite search engine we have added a little icon at the left of the buttons.

Most of the icons have been gathered from the current favico in the web service and the rights of the image are reserved to them. Icons for Vimeo, Delicious, YouTube, StumbleUpon and some more are great designs by Komodo Media.
We finally decided to go for jQuery JavaScript framework and its great AJAX interaction. The first “Ajaxified” feature is the hability to filter the buttons by type (music, dictionaries, videos…). Anyway, remember that you don’t need JavaScript enabled in any SkyScarf page though it will help you.
